It’s time once again for the unofficial letter column for Unstoppable Doom Patrol. Figured I’d hurry up and get this one for issue 2 out there ahead of issue 3 on sale this week!

Does Velvet regrow the same construct or they're different each time ( different personality/race/gender/etc)?
Velvet of course the familiar of the ill fated spy Worm who we met this issue. And while we thought Velvet was superpowered manifestation of Worm we learned it was the other way around. The creature was the metahuman and the young handsome now exploded man was just a construct. It’s a very good question. One that could have disastrous answers for the Doom Patrol!

WOW! Issue #2 goes all in. Awesome stuff with Cliff (more Danny please). Home base expo very cool. Spy stuff already, classic. Kinda wondering, though, what parts (& characters) of past Doom Patrol runs are NOT part of this reality / multiverse / timeline?
Every Doom Patrol run counts! As do most the Doom Patrol appearances in other books. All your comics count! My main rule is the main series continuity comes first and then other appearances fit in where they can. If they don’t, trust me when I say I’ve already figured out a creative way in which they do! Anything is possible with comics!
When it comes to our series, I’ll make sure you have everything you need to know in these issues. I’m a lifelong fan of this comic and as far as I’m concerned it all happened to the World’s Strangest Superheroes one way or another.

This issue was awesome. I love the attention to detail in the art and writing and am excited to see what other fun Easter eggs I'll notice in future reads.
At this point, is it safe to assume that someone's going to die every issue?
Maybe not every issue, but rest assured no one is safe in this book!

Great to see so many references and Easter eggs to past Doom Patrol eras. Is there any word on how well the first two issues have sold? I know that DC has already extended the 6 issue Green Arrow series to 12 issues and given the go-ahead to a Blue Beetle monthly series because sales/pre-orders were so good, so I’m hopeful they’ll consider green lighting another Doom Patrol miniseries (maybe even an annual?). Anyway, I’m loving the Unstoppable Doom Patrol.
DC has already given us a bonus 7th issue for this series and the plane was to do a 6 issue series each year like a season of prestige TV to give Burnham the time and space to work his magic on art. No official word yet on the second series but as soon as I know, you will too.
The best thing we can do right now is keep showing up a comic book stores and buying and preordering the book. Don’t let up, keep spreading the word!

Hi Dennis Doom and Chris Doom . Loving the series so far, I was looking forward to reading #2 after hearing all the pre-release press, and I love love love all the nods to the past iterations of the team! Great world-building and I can really see the potential here for an expanded Doomiverse. As a long-term fan of the DP since ‘87 would love to see more old team members, from Kupperberg and Arcudi runs - I know some of them are dead, but hey.. comics! Keep on with the DC Doom world domination and thank you!
No plans to bring anyone back from the dead unless there is a meaningful story driving it, which takes time and space to set up so keep reading!

We never got anything more on the Brain/Mallah/Immortus subplot from issue #1 which was surprising.
You might want to reread issue 2. It’s there. >:)

Her powers are pretty new and she’s still learning how to control them, so plenty of tricks I suspect!
So, are you saying that Scooby-Doo Team Up #43 is canon?
I just thought of a question: since Dr. Syncho has a connection to the fifth dimension, will we be seeing any of the OTHER inhabitants of that realm show up, such as Mr. Mxyzptlk or the Thunderbolt, or someone or something similar?
